The deliberate grapple-frame allows the optional installation of a top saw by maintaining the frame stability at the same time. Both moveable wingknives are located directly behind the fixed top knife, follow very wellt he stem and provide an excellent delimbing result.
Feed roller and knife pressure are optimized by machine control KTC according to diameter and tree species. The diameter controlled cross cut saves valueable time and improves productivity by fully automated bucking instructions. The automatic chain tensioner ensures long lifetime of the sawbar. The photo sensor for quick and time saving processing of precut wood as well as the KONRAD-endless rotator come as standard beside many other innovations of WH50-1.
