The frame design from WH60-1 was further improved. The hydraulic 4-wheel drive with mechanical differential lock has always excellent traction no matter it is hardwood or heavy mountain wood.
The unique patented frame geometry of KONRAD harvester heads allow an excellent handling of hardwood and crooked trees. A newly designed parallel bar on the feed roller arms balances uneven stem surfaces perfectly and the feed wheels have outstanding traction independent from stem diameter. The smart frame bracket design improves the grapping in steep slopes and assures a relatively long frame in the tilt up position. Thus controlled felling of big trees is easy.
Beside the automatic chain tensioner and the photo sensor the KONRAD endless rotator as many other innovations come as standard on WH60-1.
